FloWell, More Than 50 Years of Expertise
Active in the metallurgical sector since 1969, FloWell has continuously improved its certifications, ultimately achieving the highest level of nuclear certification.
Today, our company is proud to be a key player in the nuclear sector and other niche markets.
And Tomorrow?
Always proactive, we created a subsidiary, F. Power Solutions, internationally certified for the nuclear industry and ready to take over in the context of future power plant shutdowns.
Since October 2020, FPS has held the QSC-846 certification issued by ASME and is expanding into the nuclear industry worldwide. We are the only company in Belgium to hold this certification.
FloWell is also developing its production capacities and machining unit while placing strong emphasis on non-destructive testing. Our NDT operators are increasingly called upon to perform non-destructive testing on-site and within power plants.
OUR CERTIFICATIONS
FloWell has obtained several external certifications, guaranteeing the effectiveness of its quality management system and its commitment to continuous improvement.
Our approach and quality management system comply with the ISO 9001:2015 standard. (certificate)
Since the beginning of 2010, the quality system has been expanded to comply with the requirements of the ASME Code Section III Divisions 1, 2, and 3. This compliance enabled us to become one of the few companies to obtain the QSC-B certificate, a qualification specific to the Belgian nuclear market.
In February 2016, FloWell expanded its scope and was qualified as a “Manufacturer” according to articles NCA-3800 and NCA-4000 of the ASME Code Section III. The Certificate of Authorization was issued by Engie Electrabel following an audit conducted by the inspection body Vinçotte.
Currently in Development: ISO 19443:2018 Certification
Specific to the nuclear sector, ISO 19443 is based on ISO 9001. The ISO 19443 standard was developed to clarify the requirements of major nuclear industry stakeholders throughout their supply chain. It enables organizations to manage their quality management systems and ensure the conformity of products and services supplied to contractors.
The certifications obtained, together with the implemented quality management system, provide us with organizational and qualitative control over our products and services.
OUR SYNERGIES
FPS is our sister company. It is currently developing to focus exclusively on the nuclear sector worldwide.
Its scope is identical to that of FloWell. The infrastructure and qualified personnel are shared between both companies.
FPS is fully certified and holds the QSC-846 certification issued by ASME.
IEB Labs is located on the same production site as FloWell while remaining completely independent from FloWell and F. Power Solutions. We entrust them with all destructive testing assignments (mechanical and chemical). The laboratory holds ISO 17025 certification, recognized worldwide.
